Drew Daughtery Honored with the Northern Star Lifetime Achievement Award

Drew’s impact on GMSC is profound. From serving as commodore and holding numerous board positions to mentoring racers and fostering participation in national sailing events, Drew has demonstrated unwavering commitment. His competitive accolades include winning the Y-Flyer Nationals four times, the GMSC Centerboard Championship 16 times, and multiple keelboat and fleet championships.

Beyond his personal accomplishments, Drew’s leadership in US Sailing and the Y-Flyer National Fleet has elevated GMSC’s reputation, including hosting three prestigious Championship of Champions regattas. His lifetime achievements have profoundly advanced competitive sailing and served as an inspiration to all.
