GMSC Members,
As you likely know, GMSC is hosting U.S. Sailing's Championship of Champions regatta on October 3-6, 2024 in Y-Flyers.
This will be the third time GMSC has partnered with US Sailing to host this premier invitational regatta comprised of winners of national, international, and world championships.
We are proudly working together put on a first-class regatta. With the help of our generous sponsors, we are providing all meals for competitors. In addition, we are offering housing for competitors and race committee members, procuring 20 Y-flyers, and lining up volunteers to make the event go off without a hitch!
We also want our clubhouse, grounds and the Y-Flyers to be in ship-shape for the regatta. With that in mind, we are having a pop-up work party this Saturday (September 14) from 9:30-12:30.
We could REALLY use EVERYONE to help tidy-up the clubhouse, wash Y-Flyers, move boats to accommodate additional Y-flyers borrowed for the regatta, complete a few projects and generally clean-up the grounds. If you are available, please join us Saturday morning at 9:30.
