Join us for GMSC’s 41^st Annual Hawg Wild Regatta!

Rules

The regatta will be governed by Rules in the current Racing Rules of Sailing, the Class Rules of each fleet, and the current GMSC Centerboard Instructions.

Eligibility

The regatta is open to Y-Flyers, Flying Scots, Thistles, and Catamarans.

Entry & Fees

Registration is available online and in-person on race day. Please register online by Monday morning, May 19^th to help with food planning, even if paying by cash, check, or charge “at the door.” $70 covers regatta entry and meals for skipper and up to two crew. Additional meals may be purchased by adding crew at registration for $10.

SATURDAY, MAY 24^th 

10am Registration at Pavilion

10:45am Competitors Meeting at Pavilion

Noon Harbor Gun 

Dinner and drinks to follow at the Clubhouse circa 6pm

SUNDAY, MAY 25^th 

10am Harbor Gun

No races will start after 12:30p

After racing Awards Presentation at the Clubhouse

Courses

Courses will be announced at the Competitors Meeting.

We will attempt to sail as many races as possible. One race constitutes a series.

Five races must be completed to warrant a throw-out.

Register your kids in Junior Learn to Sail!

Our JLTS team has been hard at work preparing the docks, boats, and lesson plans needed for our annual junior clinic. We still have a few open slots remaining! Junior Learn to Sail is June 9-13, during the day Monday through Friday. Contact Nicole at jlts@gmsc.org if you would like to participate or volunteer for one or multiple days.
